    HSSE OFFICER

    Position Title: HSSE OFFICER

    2 Role Summary
     To implement and follow tasks according to HSSE plan and customer requirement.
     To observe safety compliance of warehouse staff and safety performance of
    contractor/ sub-contractor.
    3 Specific Accountabilities
     Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety
    assessments to support HSSE Manager.
     Issue and maintain relevant HSSE SOP and documentation from customer’s
    requirement.
     Support HSSE Manager to arrange activities related to fire drill & evacuation,
    chemical spillage practice as ERT team member, safety patrol…
     Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations for chemical.
     Prepare periodically HSSE reports and internal reports.
     Provide assistance and advice on HSSE issues to make recommendations to HSSE
    manager.
     Participate in incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
     Manage and arrange inspection for high risk equipment (forklift, fire-fighting
    system…) and collect some data (temp, ambient environmental) from operation to
    report to customers.
     Assist some internal training relevant HSSE topics.
     Observe HSSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe
    working practices, observe contractor performance and cross check safety
    requirement for vehicle come into warehouse.
     Manage PPE for fire-fighting team and spill kit to ensure these are available at all
    time.
     Making safety audit for delivery places if customer requires.
     Perform additional duties as assigned by HSSE manager.

    4 Skills Required
     Good communication skill, confident.
     Proactive and can work with high pressure.
     Analysis skill.
     Good written and spoken English
    5 Experience and Qualifications
     Bachelor degree.
     Minimum of 1 - 2 year experience in an Environmental, Health, Safety and Security
    position.
     Have chemical safety knowledge.
     Have knowledge of chemical laws for warehousing and transporting is advantage.
     Execution ISO standards: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14:001: 2015, ISO 45001:2018 are
    advantage.

    2. General Description 

    The role holder is responsible for all legal aspects of Schenker Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Schenker Logistics Vietnam Co., Ltd., providing professional legal advices to the management and personnel of both entities operating the registered business of DB Schenker in Vietnam.

    3. Specific Accountabilities

    ·         Provide advice on general corporate, regulatory, administrative and legal matters to Vietnam management and personnel.

    ·         Provide advice on all contracts, especially customer and supplier contracts, to Vietnam management and personnel.

    ·         Where necessary, engage and manage external counsel for general legal, regulatory and/or administrative matters, and court proceedings in Vietnam.

    • Drive operations excellence, 5S, continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
    • Drive development of the warehouse team and succession planning.
    • Support the BD team in solution design and costing.
    • Lead meetings with existing clients, regular business reviews.
    • Participate in meetings with new clients together with BD.
    • P&L owner in terms of cost. Drive cost savings initiatives.
    • Ensure SOP’s are always updated and followed.
    • Ensure safe working conditions in close cooperation with HSSE.
    • Drive service quality and cost efficiency of subcontracted warehouse services.

    2. Role Summary
    Ensure the assigned operation tasks under customer service scope run smoothly & deliver outstanding service level to nominated customers

    3. Specific Accountabilities


    English Version:
    ·         Handle orders from customer from the beginning until the end of mapped process.
    ·         Well understanding the nature of Distribution Center’s products (warehousing & distribution services). Both in term of physical, systematic & software operating.
    ·         Be effective connection between external customers with internal parties (IT, Warehouse, Transport, Admin, accountant…) to satisfy customer’s demand.
    ·         Prepare debit note bases on the signed logistic contract between Schenker & nominated customers.
    ·         Play a role of after sales to promote more services to current nominated customers.

    ·         Hiểu rõ tính chất các sản phẩm công ty cung cấp cho khách hàng (dịch vụ kho vận) về mặt quy trình, hệ thống và các phần mềm quản lý liên quan.
    ·         Đóng vai trò cầu nối hiệu quả giữa các khách hàng bên ngoài và các nhóm nội bộ ( như IT, nhóm kho, nhóm vận tải, nhóm Admin, kế toán…) để thỏa mãn yêu cầu của khách hàng.
    ·         Chuẩn bị hóa đơn dựa trên hợp đồng logistic được ký kết giữa Schenker và các khách hàng chỉ định.
    ·         Đóng vai trò nhân viên hậu mãi để phát triển, giới thiệu thêm dịch vụ của Schenker đến với các khách hàng hiện tại của Schenker.
    ·         Chủ động trong việc giải quyết các vấn đề phát sinh trong công việc và sáng tạo thay đổi công việc đang làm để đạt được kết quả công việc tốt hơn.

    ·         Thực hiện các nhiệm vụ khác được phân công bởi trưởng phòng dịch vụ khách hàng liên quan đến công việc.
